In principle, the implants remain in the bone forever, however, the fixed teeth (prostheses) may need to be exchanged due to wear and tear and changes in bite. There are situations when implants may have to be replaced or more implants are added, especially if more teeth have to be removed at later stages.
One should understand that the practice of dentistry is not an exact science. and further to understand that no one can promise that any dental treatment or procedure will be successful or that any risk or complication or injury will not occur.
The guarantee covers bridges and implants material defects. It’s valid in our clinic in Bangalore. Unfortunately, it is not possible to offer a guarantee for the medical service and success of the treatment, since dentistry practice and surgery are not an exact science and healing is rather an individual process dependent on the patient’s ability to recover. Nevertheless, we can usually offer help, either free of charge or at a significantly reduced price, if single implants or prosthetic parts need be replaced due to unexpected events.
Further,Nobody can’t guarantee against further gum shrinkage. This happens during the whole human life (faster or slower) and can’t be predicted.
